Music

Recently on a date, the guy said something that i thought was interesting. We were talking about how I don't listen to non-jewish music, and he said that the question isn't what's so wrong with non-jewish music, but whats so RIGHT about jewish music?
My response was, "hmmm".

that's such a strange question. There are so many reasons why it's right, no body would argue with them.

The only argument comes when people say both can be right.

ahh I see what you mean. One of those types.

But there's an answer to that. Time's are changing and no music is wrong, it's just different, more modern. Although some say that the way music makes you move tells you if it's good or not.

hmm i never heard that before.

im not such a music person- so not listening to non jewish music isnt that hard for me, and i barely even listen to jewish music anyway

Since music is a chochma,
and chochma bagoyim taamin (believe that there is wisdom by non-jews)
therefore why not? (assuming that there is no kol isha- thats more sticky)
