This guy I know just called me and told me he was calling me back. I told him that I never called him. Someone who sounds like me had called him from my number and said something really obscene and perverted over and over again, but the reception was bad, so he hung up and called me back. I was in the middle of watching a movie and my phone was right next to the whole time. I told him it wasn’t me, and he knows I'm not the type of person to say that to someone! I've heard about these calling cards or whatever that you can put someone else’s number to show up on the caller ID… but no ones ever done this to me! This is so high school. Is there any other explanation?

I had a thing a couple years ago where I kept getting calls and voicemails from a blocked number and they were always weird things.
wow, that's crazy, I hate prank phone calls, my brother went through a faze where he did a bunch of those. He used a program on the computer where you click a button and a voice from different sound boards would talk, so the person can't recognize the voice. It was funny to listen to, but I really felt bad for the people he called.
I remember getting a prank call when I was younger before caller ID came out, and a girl in my class made believe she was a guy, and spoke in a fake man voice, it was funny, the next day she told me that she had called, but I was annoyed at her.
Also, I've heard of where you can change your caller ID name and number to someone else. But that really does sound rude of someone to do that. I can imagine it's driving you crazy to figure out what happened.
